Next big election is probably the Los Angeles mayoral election in 2005.
Major candidates are Hertzberg, Hahn, and Villaraigosa,
with Bernard Parks and Richard Alarcón looking like outsiders now.
Republican Walter Moore , mayor? No.
I don't think I'll follow the mayor's race very closely.
BTW, if you were disappointed not to find the LA-SF bullet train proposition
on your ballot, look for it in 2006. It was moved in some political bargain.
