I bought soap today. Lots of soap. I will soon be swimming in soap. In this heat, it can only help.
Aspenwilde Soaps - Gardener's Blend, Cedarwood and Bergamot, Rosemary Mint. I've ordered (and loved) these before.
Althea Soaps - Strawberry Smoothie, Ginger and Amber, Vanilla Bean, and Just Soap. And bad puns. *frown*
Actually, it probably would have helped more if I'd found time to do laundry instead. I'm afraid this week will have me scraping the bottom of the closet. I'm Sunday-night sad now. Monday approaching, nothing accomplished.
Still, soap makes me feel clean. Just ordering soap from faraway exotic places feels even cleaner. This soap, I firmly believe, is uncorrupted by the commercialism and freakishness and expense that touches everything in this city and this state. These soaps are coming to come out of their corrugated palanquin and silently freak over the smoggy air that greets them.
This soap is going to ... well, it's not going to drive my car and computer home and feed and comfort my dear patient lonely kitty.
